I put a parsnip on my grocery list because the recipe sounded so good. ![]() I use this opportunity to try new recipes and try new skills – i.e., they are guinea pigs for my experimentation! I searched on baked carrots and beets with thyme and found your recipe. Every week I have Sunday dinner with two friends and we alternate cooking. I love the color, the flavor, and the simplicity of this recipe. ![]() HOW TO MAKE HONEY ROASTED BEETS, CARROTS AND PARSNIPS You can substitute baking soda for the coarse salt.Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary.
